Girl in Grey T Shirt

Macy McKnight

Lead Vocals

Macy is an eclectic lead singer with an expansive repertoire, including pop, dance, modern rock, classic rock, and country rock. She has been singing since she was 3 years old, starting in her church choir. A classically trained vocalist, she has integrated gospel, musical theatre, country, rock, pop, folk and blues into her unique style.

Originally from a small town outside of Pittsburgh Pa, Macy moved to NYC and ultimately Dutchess County, where she began pursuing her artistic passions in a professional capacity. In addition to performing with the band, Macy has been active in County Players in Wappingers Falls.

Macy also holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Robert Morris University. When not in the spotlight, Macy can be found behind the scenes as a producer for both television and film, she is excited for her most recent project “Swipe”.

Bill "The Hammer" Hammond

Bass

Bill "The Hammer" Hammond, grew up in Astoria Queens, NYC, and played bass with a few bands in the 1970's till the mid eighties. Mostly rock and country rock. My favorite bass players are Tim Bogert from Vanilla Fudge and Cactus, Jack Bruce from Cream, Berry Oakley from the Allman Brothers, and Jack Casady from the Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna.

After a 30 year hiatus, where Bill focused on building his investment advisory business, he began to play bass again mostly for fun and charity events. For the past 2 years Bill has been playing with the Sidecar Steve Band performing at many venues in the Hudson Valley.

Rob Schroeder

Percussion

As a professional percussionist and classically trained pianist, Rob has collaborated with many in his musical journey.  Born and raised in the Hudson Valley, he developed an early appreciation for music.

He began piano lessons when he was six years old and began drumming when he was nine.  His passion for music kept him playing regularly in his middle school orchestra and marching band, school talent shows, battle of the bands and NYS music competitions.  Rob had his first break came when he was sixteen years old.  He was asked to play in the pit orchestra for an off-Broadway theatrical group because of his keen sight-reading abilities.  It provided him with steady work, as he grew familiar with the professional side of the Hudson Valley music community.

Following high school, Rob pursued his bachelor’s degree in studied jazz, musical composition, musical arts and his love of musical performance deepened as he toured with many concert, jazz and marching bands during the 1970s.

Following college, the doors opened quickly for Rob to perform, collaborate, and begin to produce music in the recording studio.  He’s performed with the HV Philharmonic as a timpanist, and opened shows with Sha-na-na, Twisted Sister, Orleans, 38 Special and Stevie Nicks.

Rob also toured for several years as a front of house audio engineer for a large musical theatre group of one hundred vocalists. The annual tours began at Madison Square Garden and continued in all capital cities from Maine to Florida.

He recently collaborated with Academy Country Music artist Jennie Angel and the Outlaws, collaborated and performed in her music video titled “Leaving”,  and toured with Jen in 2021.  Our venues included Atlantic City Showboat Casino,  Rats Nest Run Summer Concert Series, North Carolina Indie Festival and charitable events for the National Spina-Bifida Foundation.
